Mahjong Network
A Doman Mahjong Community on Dynamis Data Center
Fellowship

We currently have one fellowship and two cross-world linkshells (CWLS).
These are in-game social systems. I will briefly explain them here and what role they play on Dynamis.Mahjong Network Fellowship
To be clear, nobody is required to join the fellowship! It's a service and is encouraged and that's it. If you would just like to join the CWLS, totally fine!Fellowship services & perks:
- In-game news bulletin and community board.
- Find links to the discords we are currently using.
- If you take a break from FFXIV and were removed at some point from your CWLS, this fellowship will streamline your return to a linkshell. Highly recommended!
- The fellowship system simply makes it easier to manage the CWLSs and keep them active. Basically, it helps me make sure the CWLS's are being used by active members for you to queue with.I want to stress again, no judgement if you don't want to join it! It's not that kind of thing.
Cross-world Linkshells (CWLS)

Current CWLS List
- Mahjong Network 1
- Mahjong Network 2News
2023-10-08: Mahjong Network 2 is very new, and we are seeking volunteers to join both CWLS as a jumpstart. Trying to avoid recruiting brand new members to an empty CWLS if it can be avoided.About our CWLS
Everyone who joins our CWLS is automatically promoted to leader. This is a vital housekeeping measure to preserve the health of our chat channels.
Here's why:
1. It allows members to invite new players they may come across in mahjong matches or wherever.
2. It allows me, or whoever replaces me someday, to see who hasn't been online in over a month.Regarding reason #2, inactive CWLS members will sadly need to be purged from the CWLS now and then to make room for people currently playing on Dynamis. The primary purpose of CWLS is to help people queue up, so keeping them active is vital to all members.HOWEVER! The door is always open! If you are also a member of our fellowship, it will be that much easier to streamline you back into a CWLS. The fellowship has a 1,000 member cap. There's no plan or reason to remove inactive players from there.Inactive player cleanup will be announced via this CARRD site, the fellowship bulletin, as well as announced in CWLS a few days before.

Discord Links:FFXIV Mahjong: https://discord.gg/TFwvpPC
Primary LFG Channel: #looking-for-match-dynamis
This is our primary Discord for learning, discussing strategy, setting up matches with players from other NA data centers, etc. We do not own or manage the Discord. The owner has been great to work with, however!FFXIV Dynamis Data Center: https://discord.gg/dynamisxiv
Primary LFG Channel: #golden-saucer
In addition to just another place to LFG, this Discord also hosts a weekly Mahjong event on our behalf, "Mahjong Power Hour". It has been fantastic in raising awareness to our network.
We also host a CWLS recruitment page here. The Good Apples: https://discord.gg/e9VMettk
Very friendly Discord community that kind of runs its own version of the Novice Network. The people here are very passionate about easing new players into the game.
The Mahjong Network has been introduced and plugged in to contribute and catch new players interested in Doman Mahjong.Europeans on Aether: https://discord.gg/HFtpsmTe64
This is a cross-DC community that began building a presence on Dynamis lately, so don't let the name fool you! We've met the owner and are just linking up as a mutual resource.
We have some Mahjong Network members who live in different time zones, which can just be challenging to queue for anything. There's currently not much known about the mahjong interest in there, but that hasn't stopped us from discovering stragglers yet! Heck, maybe you're looking for some non-mahjong people for other content. Have at it!
